Squiggle T

It’s taken quite some time, but finally the Squiggle T is here.

We’ve been using the squiggle for nearly a decade as a tool to easily describe the design process. It’s been referenced, recognized and printed all over the place in such books as This is Service Design Thinking & Business Model Generation. Back in 2006 IDEO interns selected the squiggle to be the icon for their internship and they printed it as a limited run T Shirt. For the first time, Central has produced the official Squiggle T Shirt and is offering it here from our online store.

The T Shirt is printed on the very comfortable American Apparel Asphalt T, and comes in both womens and mens sizes. We have Small, Medium and Large sizes available. And we discovered that the AA smalls are really very small. They’re practically kid sized small. Be warned. Though we must admit, a tight fit makes the squiggle look even better.

The Squiggle is proudly displayed across the T, and a Central logo is tucked down at the bottom of the shirt, near the hem line. We tried to put it out of the way so you could enjoy the simplicity of the design process across your torso.

Ape Do Good Printing, here in San Francisco hand-printed the shirts, using a eco-waterbased soft dye. They were incredibly helpful in making the choices of T shirt as well as how to get the best result printing the squiggle. We think you’re going to love it.
